Flag Presentation

During the Mt. Juliet City Commission meeting, Nate Kammerer captivated the audience as he presented his AP Research project. His project centered around flag design and local history, and he masterfully conveyed how it symbolized the geographical significance, regional importance, and core values of Mt. Juliet. Nate also delved into the potential of his versatile flag design to promote unity among community members, proposing it as a powerful unifying symbol.

State Shared Revenues

2010 population by census 31,376

2020 population by census 39,289

Population difference of 7,913

Estimates of State Shared revenues for General Fund are $118.07 per capita (person) which gives an increase of $934,288. The State Street Aid portion is $35.70 which would give us an increase of $282,494. The total overall annual increase would be $1,216,782.

* The per capita rate from the state can adjust both up and down.

Discussion on the proposed Canebrake Subdivision.

While this proposal is outside the city limits of Mt. Juliet, I want to share what I know about the proposal.  This proposed subdivision will have a direct impact on Hickory Hills and Willoughby Station.
